4 Tips:
1. The unit is solar and will only run with sufficient sunlight.
2. The motor will burn out if it continues to run without enough water in the birdbath.
3. If the solar panels turn white due to calcium build-up from hard water, it can be easily cleaned by wiping it off with white vinegar.
4. The screen on the bottom of the unit can become clogged with debris over time and lessen the flow of water through the bubbler. It should be cleaned regularly with an old toothbrush.
